Project Overview

This project involved the stripping out and re-modelling of all the WC blocks on 7 floors with new male and female WCs including two number “superloos”. The client wanted the “fit-out” to be quick and cause the least amount on inconvenience to the occupiers and the building was fully occupied throughout the works. The method applied was to carry out the fit-out of two floors at a time with a two-week programme for each batch, this was extremely challenging and involved a large amount of “out of hours” working. Our client had two key drivers and they were quality of finish and time frames to be achieved. The project was completed with very little disruption and only one complaint through the entire process.

The strip out of existing WCs (out of hours)

Reconfiguration of the layout

New sanitary ware

Bespoke cubicle systems

New floors and ceilings

Tiling throughout

Alterations to the existing services (WC extract)
