Project Overview

Greystar is an American based company that provides student accommodation. This project addressed the refurbishment of the Entrance reception, Auditorium, bar area, and various meeting rooms. Due to it being an occupied building the works were phased and separate sections worked on to not interrupt the students, maintain security and allow the business to operate as normal.

The project was full of challenges and several changes were incorporated daily. The phasing of the works was continually changed to meet the business requirements and a considerable amount of additional works was undertaken. Notwithstanding this, the required completion dates were achieved.

Works include:

Strip out of the existing, reception, bar, auditorium, speed lanes, flooring, and general fixtures and fittings

Conversion of the existing Auditorium into a meet and greet/break out area

New bar, café, reception desks

Feature joinery walls

Adaption and upgrade of M&E

New lighting

Security and AV system upgrades

General upgrade of existing finishes & decorations throughout

Meeting rooms
